Danza Contemporánea de Cuba (founded in 1959), has developed a particular style from the basics of Cuban folklore and universal modern dance. So the Company has created a new vision of both modern and national contemporary dance techniques.
The main goal of the International Workshop on Cuban Modern Dance - Cubadanza is to give students the knowledge of the Cuban techniques, Cuban rhythms and dances from popular culture and folklore. Cubadanza is organized twice a year. A Winter Workshop around the first weeks of January and a Summer Workshop around the first weeks of August. Both Workshops with two weeks work from 9am to 2pm.

All payments will be charged the first day of the Workshop at the office of Danza Contemporánea de Cuba. The price includes a Certification or Diploma.
All participants could also attend (subject to Company schedules) rehearsals, performances and demonstration classes from the first dancers of the Company.
